Owner, Mental Health TherapistI’m a mom first and foremost, with grown children and wonderful grandchildren who fill my life with joy. I share my days with an incredible partner, not only in life but also in work, which makes every moment an adventure. In our free time, we love camping and traveling, exploring new places and making memories together. Our four (!) Boston Terriers keep us on our toes, always ready for playtime and bringing endless laughter to our home. I’m passionate about reading and learning, always diving into a great book and eager to share recommendations. I’d love to hear what you’re reading, too!
As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, I’m recognized for my expertise in trauma-focused therapy, particularly with teens and adolescents. I work with clients facing a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, self-harm behaviors, ADHD, OCD, PTSD, and suicidal ideation, offering tailored interventions to foster healing and growth. With a robust background in counseling, I bring extensive training and experience to my practice, adeptly supporting individuals, families, and couples. I employ a diverse toolkit of evidence-based modalities, blending compassion with clinical skill to address both everyday stressors and complex psychological needs. My holistic approach emphasizes resilience, empowerment, and lasting change, making me a trusted ally for clients navigating life’s most difficult moments.
Passionate about mental health advocacy, I place great importance on providing inclusive services to all populations, including LGBTQ, BIPOC, and historically oppressed peoples, creating a safe, supportive space for everyone, informed by my deep understanding of trauma’s impact across age groups and relationships.

I’m Allie, a practicum student therapist who believes therapy should feel like a partnership rooted in safety, consent, and collaboration. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and an Associate’s degree in Addictions from the University of Nevada, Reno, and I’m completing my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy at National University. I enjoy working with children, teens, and families specifically in the areas of recovery from emotional abuse or neglect, grief and loss, perinatal, peri/post menopausal, marriage and romantic relationships, pre-marital, anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, veterans, reconnecting families that have unhealed ruptures or estrangement, and life transitions.
I am level 2 Gottman trained (Marriage/Relatiionship) and level 2 PMH (Perinatal Mental Health) trained working on experiential hours for certification.
I’m supervised by Amy Reha, LCPC,NCC.
My work is trauma-informed and draws from Attachment theory, Narrative therapy, and is deeply client-focused. In sessions, I often integrate elements of ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy), and IFS (Internal Family Systems), Gottman for relationship counseling, and others to help clients connect more deeply with their emotions, relationships, and sense of self.
Outside of the therapy room, I’m a married mom of two school-aged kids. I love helping out at my children’s school, spending time at the pool or nearby lakes, and catching a good movie when I can. Being a mom and an adult can sometimes feel like five full-time jobs at once, so I’m not here to tell anyone how to live or what they should enjoy. Sometimes, we all deserve a sticker just for getting through the day.
Clients always have a say in the pacing and direction of our work. As a student therapist, my top priority is your safety, comfort, and readiness for each step we take together.
I work from an LGBTQIA+ and neurodiversity-affirming lens and believe every story deserves compassion and space. Together, we’ll create a therapeutic relationship that feels safe enough to explore, grow, and heal.
