Sarah Olivas, LCSW, LCADC
Mental Health Therapist
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) with eight years of experience, I am passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with compassion, authenticity, and practical support. I provide therapy primarily in Fallon, Nevada (also serving Sparks), and I’m committed to closing the gap in rural mental health care so people don’t have to travel far or leave their support systems behind.
I take a personalized, holistic approach, drawing from evidence-based modalities and collaborating with each client to tailor sessions to their unique needs, strengths, and goals. My experience includes supporting people facing anxiety, depression, trauma, suicidal ideation, life transitions, stress, grief and loss, domestic violence, family conflict, substance use concerns, and other challenges. My goal is to help you build resilience, gain confidence, and create lasting change.
I balance compassion with straightforwardness—offering empathy alongside gentle accountability—so you feel safe enough to be honest and supported enough to grow. I fiercely advocate for my clients and strive for everyone to leave feeling heard, empowered, and better equipped for whatever life brings.
Outside the office, I’m a proud wife, stepmother to a teenager, and mom to a son born this past March. Family is at the center of my life. In my free time you’ll find me reading fiction, exploring true crime, sitting around a bonfire, camping, riding ATVs, or making memories with the people I love.
Reaching out takes courage, and it’s an honor to walk alongside my clients through hard moments. My hope is that every person who sits across from me feels respected and empowered to move toward the life they want.
